Support IOI
IOI offers Miami volunteers and study abroad students to assist local authorities and organizations in the Galapagos and Cuba in various social, developmental, and educational causes. Our service learning programs include supporting the formal education sector and after-school programming, sponsoring environmental education, restoration, and research, as well as personal well-being, empowerment, and nutrition programs in the public health sector.
The Miami Foundation hosts Give Miami Day as part of their mission to increase local philanthropy and provide community engagement opportunities. Since 1967, they've done this by taking leadership on civic issues, investing in the community and nurturing philanthropy. Give Miami Day is one of the nation's largest annual giving events.
The 24-hour online giving campaign makes it easy for you to become a philanthropist and become a champion for IOI. This year, Give Miami Day will be on November 21st. Since 2012, Give Miami Day has raised more than $47 million.
“IOI covers 100% of its overhead through study abroad programs. In turn, 100% of your donations go directly towards supporting sustainable development and environmental conservation. Thus, any one time or monthly donation directly increases our impact in the sectors of conservation, education, and social development.”
